Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Mobile Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Mobile Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and other preventative maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, including advanced skilled level repairs.
  • Coordinate work schedules with customers and ensure quality of repair work performed.
  • Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance, repair issue resolution, and discuss new repair estimates.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred.
  • Three years or more relevant work experience preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
