Position Overview

In the role of Senior Project Manager, you will take charge of the effective administration and execution of construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks and fostering relationships with stakeholders throughout assigned projects. You may oversee multiple medium-sized initiatives, a singular large-scale project, or a specific segment of a complex undertaking. Leading by example is essential, as you will uphold company standards, meet objectives, nurture team development, and promote a constructive work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project timelines, manage long lead items, and adjust project plans as required.
  • Facilitate negotiations and execute change orders, subcontracts, and purchase agreements.
  • Generate monthly project updates, owner billings, and financial risk evaluations.
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for value engineering and scope optimization.
  • Ensure that the team and subcontractors are informed of the project safety protocols.
  • Assist in preconstruction initiatives and manage the procurement process.
  • Spot constructability challenges within project designs.
  • Guarantee compliance with contractual obligations, budgets, insurance, bonds, and change orders.
  • Advise on staff development needs and oversee job assignments.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: A degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in construction and project management, showcasing leadership and mentorship capabilities. Experience with data center projects is highly advantageous.
  • Project Scale: Proven experience managing projects valued between $20M and $200M.
  • Skills: Strong business insight, sound judgment, effective communication, leadership, client relations, negotiation, project management expertise, construction knowledge, decision-making, conflict resolution, adaptability, and analytical skills.
  • Technology: Proficient in project management and scheduling software (e.g., JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, Asta) and Microsoft Office Suite. Training on company protocols will be provided.
