Role Overview:
As a Guest Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every interaction with our guests is exceptional and memorable. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating a positive check-in and check-out experience for owners and guests while addressing their inquiries.
- Updating and maintaining records in our computerized reservation system.
- Accessing the reservation system to assist guests with their bookings or modifications as needed.
- Generating invoices and processing payments for rentals and merchandise.
- Managing safety deposit boxes.
- Receiving and relaying housekeeping and maintenance requests to the appropriate departments.
- Preparing and restocking the front desk with necessary supplies, including arrival packets.
- Providing guests with information about local attractions and resort amenities.
- Typing correspondence and reports for management as required.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Strong English language and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- A professional demeanor and courteous attitude when dealing with challenging guests and situations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and cover shifts on short notice as needed.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet organizational demands.
- At least 6 months of experience in customer service.
- Experience as a Front Desk or Guest Services Agent.
- Familiarity with cash and credit card transactions.
- Background in resort hospitality or a related field.
