Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field visits to assist teams with equipment troubleshooting.
  • Support investigations to develop and document technical scopes for repairs, replacements, or modifications.
  • Assist in evaluations of equipment to ensure compliance with engineering practices and industry standards.
  • Help create engineering work packages for routine maintenance activities, including specifications and drawings.
  • Update technical drawings and documents related to plant equipment.
  • Gather and enter updated information into spreadsheets, verifying data from engineering files.
  • Engage with machinery vendors for necessary information.
  • Participate in field supervision of maintenance and project work.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance tools to assess machinery condition.
  • Assist in creating notifications and purchase requests within the ERP system.

Who You Are:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possess a valid US Driver's License.
  • Previous experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and adherence to safe work practices.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Available to start work as specified.

Educational Requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preference for students in their 3rd or 4th year of study.
  • Availability for multiple work terms is preferred.
  • Strong academic performance is essential.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time schedule during the work term.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program or co-op/internship program.
  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.

Working Conditions:

  • May involve travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, and working on-site.

Safety Considerations:

  • This role is safety-sensitive, requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during work hours.
  • A valid US Driver's License with no restrictions is necessary for this position.

Relocation Assistance:

  • Eligible students may receive a lump sum payment to assist with relocation expenses.
