Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Refining Engineer to join our team at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our refining facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to plant operations, including troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including mechanical codes and specifications
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of reliability improvement projects
  • Support the maintenance department in the design and development of equipment reliability improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
  • Proficiency with mechanical codes and specifications
  • Valid driver's license
