Regulatory Business Development Assistant

Tripoint Search is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regulatory Business Development Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Regulatory Business Development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources to compile comprehensive intelligence briefings on company and financial profiles.
  • Conduct in-depth research on the firm's transactions across various industries, geographies, and transaction types.
  • Maintain and update the firm's experience database with accurate and comprehensive transaction deals.
  • Refine and curate core materials related to specific industries, practice descriptions, and representative experience.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence and benchmarking research within an industry or among peer firms.
  • Maintain and update content in the firm's database and CRM system.
  • Assist the Regulatory BD team with compiling directory submissions, including Chambers, Legal 500, and GCR.
  • Liaise with the Events team to assist with internal and external events, seminars, webinars, and sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development & Marketing team to support various initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, liberal arts, or related field required.
  • Practice group experience in Regulations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Preqin, and Reuters is ideal.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills with various Microsoft programs, CRM, and research tools.
