Rutland Regional Medical Center: A Leader in Healthcare

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to serve as Vice President, Facilities Projects and Services. This key role will play a critical part in shaping the strategic direction of our facilities master planning, construction project management, and facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic action plans to drive success in facilities management
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, maintenance staff, and construction project managers
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to hospital permits and accreditations
  • Manage hospital construction and remodeling projects of significant size and scope
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in facilities, engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading support services, facilities/engineering, and construction in a hospital setting
  • Excellent working knowledge of service contracts, general contracting, hospital facilities, design, and building principles
  • Ability to use computer tools for design, record keeping, and report writing
  • Strong interpersonal qualities and the demeanor to establish credibility in the organization
