Rutland Regional Medical Center Seeks Strategic Leader

Rutland Regional Medical Center, a community-centered organization and health system, is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Vice President of Facilities and Operations. This role represents an outstanding opportunity to join a team that has been serving the people of Vermont for over 125 years.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in setting the strategic and regulatory direction for facilities master planning, construction project management, facility maintenance, and services required to support the organization's facilities. The incumbent will have direct responsibility for Engineering and Maintenance, Environmental Services/Linen, Compliance and Safety, and Construction Project Management staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic action plans to achieve organizational goals
  • Manage hospital construction and remodeling projects of significant size and scope
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state laws and regulations related to hospital permits and accreditations
  • Lead and manage teams to achieve operational excellence

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in facilities, engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in facilities and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and teams
