Position Overview:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing, assessing, and instructing patients engaged in Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR), Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR), Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR), and Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (SET for PAD). Your role will encompass chronic disease management and both primary and secondary prevention initiatives.
Experience Requirements:
Preferred candidates will have completed an internship within a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation setting.
Educational Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or a related discipline is mandatory. A Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or a related field is highly desirable.
Training Preferences:
Engagement in State and/or National Professional Organizations is preferred.
Licensure:
Preferred certifications include ACSM Exercise Specialist and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Additionally, the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an equivalent certification is required within 90 days of employment. The AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within one year of hire.
