Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Froedtert Health. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and educating patients receiving Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation (ICR), Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR), Pulmonary Rehabilitation (PR), and Supervised Exercise Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease (SET for PAD), chronic disease management, and primary and secondary prevention programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate patients receiving ICR, CR, PR, and SET for PAD
  • Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for patients
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field
  • Preferred: Internship in a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program, Masters Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or related field, Participation in State and/or National Professional Organization, ACSM Exercise Specialist and/or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist certification, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
