Job Summary

The Exercise Physiologist plays a crucial role in our Cardiac Rehabilitation program, working closely with patients to achieve optimal health outcomes. This position requires a strong understanding of exercise physiology and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs for patients with cardiovascular disease.

Responsibilities
  • Orient, monitor, and evaluate patients receiving exercise stress tests
  • Maintain good flow for all tests to minimize wait times
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized exercise plans
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor patient progress and adjust exercise programs as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field
  • Knowledge of basic 12-lead ECG and arrhythmia recognition
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire
