Job Title: Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist to join our team at SLMC. As a key member of our Interventional Cardiac Service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Electrophysiology Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality patient care in the Electrophysiology Lab, including procedures such as Tilts, Cardioversions, ILRs, Pacemakers, ICDs, EP studies, and Ablations.
• Collaborate with the EP team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient lab operations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest electrophysiology techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology, with a strong background in EP procedures and patient care.
• BLS and ACLS certification, with experience in moderate sedation and titrating medications as needed.
• Experience with EPIC and Cardiolab/Maclab systems, with a strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and EP equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
