Position Overview:

This role involves providing support in various areas, including:

  • Installation of hardware components.
  • Deployment and installation of software applications.
  • Telephone support across all offices (First Level Help Desk).
  • Tracking of systems inventory.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of networks, hardware, and operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage first level Help Desk inquiries, providing solutions or logging calls for further assistance.
  • Communicate with various departments to keep them informed about system status, including any maintenance schedules.
  • Assist the local Central Administration office with daily operational issues.
  • Maintain network accounts and passwords for organizational use.
  • Oversee computer hardware maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Establish and maintain a stock of necessary repair parts.
  • Manage the hardware inventory database.
  • Keep abreast of developments in network, hardware, and operating systems.
  • Coordinate with the IS Manager and Systems Director regarding system modifications, repairs, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accountability for system uptime and overall operational efficiency.
