About the Role

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners, monitoring patient safety and comfort, and ensuring the quality of images produced.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Enter patient data into the computer system
  • Administer gadolinium contrast dosage intravenously (if required)
  • Interview patients, explain procedures, and position them on the examining table
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
  • Registered or registry eligible in MRI
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
