Position Overview:
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist reviews MRI orders and selects the appropriate protocol to ensure quality images for diagnostic purposes. Proper techniques and parameters must be used to obtain quality films for diagnostic purposes. Key Responsibilities:
• Performing MRI exams
• Clinical duties
• Starting IV for contrast studies when needed
• Reviewing MRI safety screening sheets with patients
• Investigating MRI safety of implants
• Maintaining equipment and supplies Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Registration as an American Registered Radiologic Technologist and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist
• Minimum of 1-year work experience in a healthcare facility setting
• Excellent clinical skills and outstanding customer service skills Work Schedule and Compensation:
• 12-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Starting rate: $55 per hour
