Facility Maintenance Attendant

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness in public and staff areas of the museum, including educational facilities, historical homes, and associated structures, as well as museum grounds by utilizing established cleaning protocols.
Ensure the sanitation of workspaces and administrative offices within the museum and its properties.
Thoroughly clean employee and visitor restrooms; disinfect and sanitize toilets and sinks; mop floors, polish stainless steel fixtures, and replenish towels and soap supplies.
Perform window and interior glass cleaning.
Carry out sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, and liner replacement tasks.
Execute additional duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs and performing various physical activities, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, climbing stairs, and walking between buildings.
Ability to follow directions and complete tasks effectively.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Availability for occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.
Education and Experience:
Prior experience in a commercial cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory.
