Job Overview

We are seeking vigilant Aquatic Safety Officers to guarantee the well-being of guests at our Indoor & Outdoor Water Facilities. The Aquatic Safety Officer will communicate safety regulations to visitors, alert them to hazardous conditions, and uphold the guidelines set forth by Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park Resort. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a safe environment by inspecting swimming areas, locker rooms, and restrooms. You will also be responsible for maintaining pool equipment and monitoring guest safety.

To excel in this position, you must quickly evaluate situations and make sound decisions regarding swimmer safety. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills, quick reflexes, and a commitment to safety. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our expanding family-owned business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising activities at aquatic facilities.
  • Communicating and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure patron safety.
  • Monitoring assigned areas to identify signs of danger, responding to emergencies, and rescuing swimmers at risk of drowning.
  • Alerting swimmers to unsafe conditions.
  • Maintaining order in swimming zones.
  • Administering first aid, CPR, or using an automated defibrillator (AED) in emergencies, and if trained, providing oxygen when necessary.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of all areas.
  • Keeping accurate records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 15 years of age or older.
  • First Aid and CPR certification will be provided.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to interact effectively with individuals of various ages and backgrounds.
  • Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
