Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Systems Manager to join our team at Passaic County Technical Institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering district budgetary and human resources systems, maintaining user accounts and system security, providing support to the school community, and implementing new procedures and training relevant users.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, with experience working with Oracle DBMS administration and PL/SQL, MS SQL Server DBMS administration and TSQL, and CSI Smarts Budget & Personnel software. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are also essential.

In this role, you will oversee personnel data related to NJSMART, ensure accuracy of data, coordinate data entry with various stakeholders, develop and maintain custom reports, and perform submissions. Additionally, you will work with vendors for implementation and troubleshooting assistance, develop and maintain customizations to applicable software, and maintain and administer district time clock systems.

You will also be responsible for ensuring data is properly synchronized between the personnel system and attendance system, providing training and support to the school community, developing and maintaining automated reports, and overseeing district attendance management systems. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain technical documentation for all areas of oversight and perform other IT-related activities assigned by the Chief Information Officer.

This is a 12-month position, with a salary range of $65,000-$90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent technical skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
