Service Technician

As a Service Technician at Coast Counties Peterbilt, you will be responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs on customer vehicles in a professional and timely manner. Your goal will be to ensure quality repairs at a fair cost to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily planning with the service team to establish repair strategies based on job priorities.
Determine work required from the repair order and diagnose vehicle issues to plan repair strategies.
Complete repairs efficiently within the time allowed and perform quality repairs to minimize shop comebacks and unnecessary expense.
Submit accurate write-ups for each repair performed and road test vehicles to verify satisfactory repair.
Maintain a clean shop environment, coordinate with the parts counter, and assist the service team with preparing repair estimates.
Update the service manager on current repairs and maintain current certifications.
Requirements:
Punctuality and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for success in this position.
Compensation:
$32-$55 per hour depending on experience.
