Role Summary
The Customer Sales and Service Representative plays a crucial role in supporting Branch Operations Managers and Sales Representatives in nurturing existing and potential ERIKS customers, ensuring the Branch meets its growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere strictly to safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to generate sales quotes.
  • Process incoming inquiries through the company sales system.
  • Provide accurate quotes to customers based on product knowledge.
  • Achieve the budgeted sales targets for the Branch.
  • Assist Accounts Receivable personnel in establishing new accounts and managing collections.
  • Coordinate with Sales Representatives and Branch management to keep account activities updated.
  • Monitor delivery commitments and expedite orders as necessary.
  • Oversee customer-specific inventory for order fulfillment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offer technical and service support to account management and customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Professional interaction with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, internet, and email.
  • Capability to utilize company software effectively.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • At least 1 year of Business to Business Customer Service experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience in industrial distribution.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of hose, gasket, and conveyor systems is advantageous.
