Key Responsibilities
  • Auditing: Perform internal audits using a risk-based methodology, covering various company operations, including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • SOX Compliance: Contribute to SOX testing efforts, including documentation, control testing, and remediation follow-up to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytical tools to identify misstatements and trends in financial data, providing insights to management and stakeholders.
  • SAP Proficiency: Demonstrate understanding of SAP systems and the ability to extract and analyze data to support audit findings and recommendations.
  • Business Process Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of financial and operational business processes, including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Internal Control Framework: Apply knowledge of internal control frameworks (COSO) to assess control effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with external auditors and internal teams to ensure audit quality and efficiency, providing insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Communication: Present audit findings to senior management and follow up on corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in auditing, data analysis, or financial analysis.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with SAP systems and data extraction.
  • Understanding of SOX requirements and internal control frameworks.
  • CPA or CIA certification preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000.
  • Annual bonus potential.
