Abrazo West Campus is seeking a skilled and experienced RN Charge to lead our Med Surg/Telemetry team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating functions and activities related to a single departmental function, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate scheduling efforts of unit RNs and act as liaison person to internal and external customers.
- Develop and implement plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor staff to ensure competency and quality care.
- Provide direct clinical patient care and assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and high-quality patient care is maintained.
- Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Minimum two years relevant clinical nursing experience, with management experience and certification in specialty area of practice preferred.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona and CPR certification.
- Additional certifications may be required based on departmental needs.
