We are seeking a Support Care Specialist to join our team at Community Access Services. As a Support Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing hands-on care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily living assistance, personal care, and household tasks.
  • Encourage individuals to achieve their personal goals and participate in community activities.
  • Administer medications (training provided) and document health and behavioral updates accurately.
  • Foster a safe and respectful environment in home and community settings.
  • Collaborate with team members, families, and external providers to deliver person-centered care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in caregiving or social work preferred but not required.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual ready to advocate for people with disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This role offers a competitive salary of $22-$23 per hour, plus a $1,000 hiring bonus. We also offer a range of benefits, including an Employee Assistance Program, retirement plans, and pet insurance.
