Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Medical Forefronts Management Solutions. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and medical staff in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and OR staff in accordance with prescribed standards, anticipating their needs and providing support as needed.
- Prepare for operative procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment and adhering to surgeons' preferences.
- Maintain and prepare surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order and meet the highest standards of sterility.
- Collaborate with other OR staff to ensure accurate counts of sponges, needles, and other equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Assist in cleaning and sterilization of equipment, transporting patients, and maintaining a clean and organized operating room.
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Completion of an Operating Room Technician/Surgical Technician training program and/or current certification with the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assistant or another accredited board
- Demonstrated knowledge of proper sterile packaging, shelf-life, and storage criteria for maintenance of sterility
- Two years of experience as a scrub tech required
- Experience working in ambulatory surgery centers preferred
- Experience working with the following specialties preferred: Ophthalmology, Plastics, General, Orthopedics, Pain Management, OBGYN, Robotics, and GI
