- Anticipate the surgeon's needs, providing timely and accurate assistance during procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Documented designation of Grandfathered status as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technologists.
- Successful completion of a nationally accredited educational program for surgical technologists or successful completion of an appropriate training program for surgical technology.
- Annual completion of 15 hours of continuing education in surgical technology.
