This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate Mobile Cranes: Safely operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position loads, following all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  2. Conduct Pre- and Post-Inspections: Perform daily and monthly equipment inspections to ensure the crane is in good working condition.
  3. Communicate with Team Members: Collaborate with riggers, site supervisors, and other team members to coordinate crane operations and ensure a safe working environment.
  4. Maintain Safety Protocols: Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA guidelines and ANSI standards.
  5. Travel to Job Sites: Travel to various job sites, often in Caroline County, Virginia, to operate cranes and complete tasks.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-5 years of experience in crane operation.
  2. OSHA Certification: Hold a valid OSHA certification and be knowledgeable in OSHA regulations and ANSI standards.
  3. Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members.
  4. Physical Demands: Be able to lift at least 100 pounds, relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance, and work at heights up to 60 feet.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. CDL Class A License: Possess a valid CDL Class A license, with experience in operating heavy equipment.
  2. NCCCO Certification: Hold a valid NCCCO certification, with experience in crane operation.
