Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Manager to join our team at Workforce Solutions - Virens Global Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the radiology program, overseeing staff training and competency, and developing quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Manage the radiology program, including assessing and monitoring staff training and competency, developing and monitoring quality improvement activities, and coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise radiology employees, perform timely employee evaluations, and ensure competencies of all staff that perform radiologic exams.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all QA/QC activities are being done, prepare reports as necessary, and responsible for lead apron testing.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all radiology equipment is appropriately maintained and inspected as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Revenue Capture: Work with Finance to maintain the radiology chargemaster and identify areas for improved revenue capture.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Radiology Management and supervision, 5+ years experience as a Radiology Technologist, PACS training, CT technologist experience preferred, MRI technologist experience preferred.
  • Skills: Able to write radiology manuals and document medical information in an organized manner.
