Compensation and Benefits Overview

The final compensation package will be determined based on individual qualifications and experience, with a salary range from $62,000 to $90,000 annually.

Standard Work Schedule

Dayshift, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

We are actively seeking a dedicated individual to join our hardworking team as a Project Manager - Electrical Construction.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager - Electrical Construction include:

  • Lead and manage all facets of one or multiple projects. Oversee and guide a team of Foremen, Team Leaders, and Field Personnel to ensure the implementation and maintenance of safe and healthy working conditions at job sites.
  • Formulate project budgets, timelines, schedules of values, and monthly billings for contract and AIA projects. Assess adherence to project budgets throughout completion and implement cost control measures or change orders as necessary. Utilize project management software (Procore) to track project delays.
  • Oversee project budgets to maximize profitability through effective use of cost codes.
  • Manage all Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and project Closeouts.
  • Conduct regular site visits to manage operations and address challenges. Monitor job sites and team members for compliance with safety regulations.
  • Enhance productivity by coordinating manpower requirements with the Director of Operations and Foremen.
  • Facilitate project objectives by serving as the company liaison with general contractors and all job site subcontractors during ongoing operations and project meetings.
  • Foster positive business relationships essential for project success and maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and vendors to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and sustain a productive working relationship with the purchasing department to ensure project equipment and material needs are met using material/equipment ordering software.
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to provide timely and accurate financial information for job cost reporting. Approve weekly timecards and review for accuracy in time allocation and job postings.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required, along with five (5) to ten (10) years of proven industry experience.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BIM is advantageous.
  • Estimating experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) is a plus.
  • Experience with Trimble is an asset.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the latest National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E.
  • Proficient in contract reviews, analysis, and interpretation of blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Strong managerial and administrative skills. Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and motivate both office and field personnel. Ability to collaborate effectively with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, project management, and material/equipment ordering software.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • This is a Safety-Sensitive Position; adherence to all safety requirements is mandatory.

Working Conditions:

  • Job site visits may require lifting, carrying, or moving 50 pounds or more.
  • Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Special Requirements:

  • Must possess a current, valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel locally, in-state, and out-of-state to job sites as required.
  • Must pass required background checks, drug/alcohol screenings (pre-employment, random, post-accident, and return to work), and physical examinations.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures is essential.
