Compensation and Benefits Overview

The compensation package is competitive and will be determined based on individual qualifications and experience, with a salary range of $62,000 - $90,000 annually.

Typical Work Schedule

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team as a Project Manager in Electrical Construction.

The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all facets of one or multiple projects. This role involves supervising and directing a team of Foremen, Team Leaders, and Field Personnel to ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a healthy working environment at designated job sites. The Project Manager will also provide training and recommendations to enhance safety awareness and compliance, supporting our commitment to a safety-focused culture.



Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager - Electrical Construction:

  • Lead daily operations and management of jobsite Foremen, Leaders, Crew, and Assistant Project Managers to ensure project scope is met. Clearly communicate project expectations to team members.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, schedules, and monthly billings for contract and AIA projects. Monitor budget adherence and implement cost control measures or change orders as necessary. Utilize project management software (Procore) to track project delays.
  • Optimize project profitability through effective budget management and cost coding.
  • Oversee all Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and project Closeouts.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to manage operations and address any issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations among team members.
  • Enhance productivity by coordinating manpower requirements with the Director of Operations and Foremen.
  • Act as the company liaison with general contractors and subcontractors during project meetings to facilitate project objectives.
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships crucial for project success, communicating effectively with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement of project materials and equipment using ordering software.
  • Work closely with the accounting department to provide accurate financial information for job cost reporting. Approve weekly timecards and ensure accuracy in job postings.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required, along with five (5) to ten (10) years of proven industry experience.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BIM is advantageous.
  • Estimating experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) is preferred.
  • Experience with Trimble software is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of the current National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E.
  • Proficient in contract analysis and interpretation of blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Strong managerial and administrative skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and solve problems effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications and project management software.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • This position is safety-sensitive; adherence to all safety protocols is mandatory.

Working Conditions:

  • Jobsite visits may require lifting and moving items weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Able to work 8 hours per day, totaling 40 hours per week.

Special Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel locally, in-state, and out-of-state as required for job assignments.
  • Must pass background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and physicals as required.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures is essential.
