Are you a seasoned leader in the restaurant industry seeking a challenging opportunity to leverage your expertise and drive business growth? IHOP 5437 Bloomington, a leading restaurant chain, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team.


About the Role

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with our dedicated team of IHOP restaurant hourly employees, Corporate and Regional employees, and valued guests. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in implementing our Craft Training program, ensuring that all restaurant hourly employees are equipped with the necessary skills to improve unit operations and enhance the overall guest experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual objectives related to financial performance, local restaurant marketing, guest service, and human resources.
  • Manage the restaurant floor, maintain regular contact with guests, and handle any complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing team by conducting ongoing coaching, administering our restaurant hourly compensation plan, and ensuring that performance appraisals are completed as scheduled.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the assigned unit, ensuring that our operation remains in full compliance.
  • Implement national and local marketing promotions, showcasing our brand and attracting new guests.
  • Complete all necessary reports and paperwork efficiently and accurately to maintain our high standards of operational excellence.
