Role Summary

As the Lead Technical Program Manager for AI Initiatives, you will be instrumental in facilitating communication among our AI, product marketing, product management, and legal teams. Your collaboration with engineering teams and technical program managers will ensure synchronization between AI research and engineering development timelines. You will oversee project execution, guaranteeing that all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, schedules, and deliverables.

Qualifications

Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a comparable role, ideally within a technology or AI-focused environment.
  • In-depth understanding of AI applications in education and technology.
  • Ability to convey complex statistical information in a straightforward manner to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in educational technology or direct collaboration with educational leaders is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
  • 5+ years of experience with project management tools and methodologies, including JIRA for strategic tracking.
  • Familiarity with SageMaker and Weights and Biases is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in aligning R&D with engineering development schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in R&D and AI/Data Science settings.
  • Fluency and enthusiasm for the latest Generative AI technologies.
Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $111,000 to $148,000. This role is eligible for bonuses or commissions. As a remote-first organization, actual compensation will be communicated in writing upon offer, considering various factors such as experience, skills, and other job-related elements.
