Job Summary

The Providence Community Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing clinical education initiatives and programs that contribute to the accomplishment of the goals and objectives of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with management to identify areas of training needs and develop plans for implementation.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with local educators, educational institutions, and organizations to meet objectives and improve program delivery.
  • Initiate clinic skill development programs that improve patient health outcomes.
  • Deploy best practice evidence-based clinical processes to facilitate change in our model of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Current RN license in the State of Rhode Island.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with providers is critical.
  • Strong/demonstrated written, verbal, presentation, and committee facilitation skills required.
  • Demonstrates the ability to facilitate change and learning.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical protocol, procedures, and standards within the area of nursing.
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot and analyze problems.
  • Knowledge with primary care processes and procedures.
  • Strong clinical skills to support the primary care environment.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, and EHR.
  • Ability to function independently with little or no direct supervision and manage multiple projects.
