Job Summary

At PACS Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Services Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our business office staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage resident trust funds, including printing and distributing monthly statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supervise business office staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
  • Assist with Medi Cal or Medicaid authorizations, including bedholds, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare TARS as needed, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in billing and payment processes, including preparing bank deposits, to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Undertake collection activity for bad debts, working closely with the finance team to resolve any issues.
  • Supervise census and report status changes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Attend stand-up meetings as required, providing updates and feedback to the team.
  • Assist with Medi Cal or Medicaid applications, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Track Medi Cal and Medicaid redeterminations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review operational reports, providing insights and recommendations to improve processes.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prefer one year of experience in a long-term care facility.
  • Strong understanding of skilled nursing billing and payment processes, as well as proficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical procedures, policy manuals, and other documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret instructions and apply concepts to practical situations.
  • Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


Working Conditions

The Senior Administrative Services Coordinator will work in a fast-paced office environment, with frequent use of computer and other office equipment. The ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods is required, as well as the ability to reach, push, and pull objects.
