Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented 911 Dispatcher to join our team at Mountrail County North Dakota. As a 911 Dispatcher, you will be responsible for receiving emergency calls for service and dispatching appropriate police, fire, EMS, or Emergency Management agencies to the incident.

You will use computer-aided dispatch systems (CAD) and multi-channel radio/paging consoles to process incoming emergency calls and dispatch and coordinate emergency responder resources. A strong understanding of maps and the CAD mapping system is required.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a 911 dispatch or emergency services role preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong understanding of maps and CAD mapping systems
