The Opportunity

As a seasoned defense professional, you will utilize your analytical and strategic expertise to drive energy solutions for critical missions. Your role will involve supporting the Department of Defense's (DoD) full portfolio of energy programs, providing trusted advisory services to clients, and identifying and evaluating complex systems, policies, and processes to ensure energy resilience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement energy solutions for DoD missions
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of energy-related policies, guidelines, and legislation
  • Provide expert guidance on energy-related policy and governance for programs and activities that ensure resilient, efficient, clean, and cyber-secure energy for Joint forces, weapon systems, installations, and tactical environments
  • Develop and execute plans to drive energy innovation and sustainability
Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with program analysis, with a focus on energy initiatives
  • 2+ years of experience working with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Service staff, or Joint Staff
  • Expert knowledge of the OSD's full portfolio of installation or operational energy programs
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
