About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team at Point Eight Power. As an Electrical Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality electrical switchboards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical switchboards from drawing packages with precision and accuracy.
  • Install electrical components, switches, meters, and other devices onto pans and into enclosures.
  • Prep and install electrical components, switches, meters, and other devices by reading and comprehending drawing packages, layouts, and documents.
  • Perform daily tasks with safe and proper use of equipment and tools.
  • Interpret and apply advanced electrical manufacturing knowledge and principles to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work area by complying with safety procedures, rules, and quality standards.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including Discrepancy Lists, Quality Check Lists, and Shop Drawing Corrections.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience assembling electrical switchboards from a drawing package in a manufacturing facility.
  • 3 years of experience working in an electrical apprenticeship, as an electronic repairman, or HVAC installer, preferred.
  • Production and Processing knowledge, including raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution.
  • Mechanical knowledge, including machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Active Listening, Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Time Management, Quality Focus, Teamwork/Cooperation, Manual Dexterity, Control Precision, Arm-Hand Steadiness, Multi-limb Coordination, Near Vision, and Customer & Service Orientation.
