Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Electric Machinery Company. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of motors, generators, and drives. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble rotor assemblies on synchronous, induction/turbo, and laminated spider jobs
  • Assemble exciter rotors and stators
  • Rectify assemblies, including steel, glastic, and turbo diode wheels
  • Finalize assembly of synchronous, vertical, turbo generator, and induction motors
  • Perform layout, fabrication, and assembly of conduit and piping
  • Arc weld assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Set up and operate balance stands, large and static
  • Engrave and place name plates and green tags on equipment
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to be certified in overhead and Jib crane operation and forklift operation
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work in small teams to assemble product
