Job Overview:
The Microsoft Azure Solutions Engineer will play a crucial role in the development and management of our cloud infrastructure utilizing Microsoft Azure.

This position entails the design of cloud-centric solutions, application deployment, resource management, and ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the cloud ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities:

Cloud Design and Implementation:
Architect, implement, and sustain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures on Microsoft Azure.


Infrastructure Management: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to develop and oversee infrastructure through tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, or comparable IaC solutions.


Resource Deployment:
Deploy and manage virtual machines, networks, databases, and other Azure resources to facilitate business applications.

Performance Monitoring:
Oversee the performance, availability, and security of cloud infrastructure, optimizing resources and costs as necessary.

Security Protocols:
Enforce and manage security best practices within Azure, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.

Process Automation:
Streamline repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.

Continuity Planning:
Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity in case of failures.

Issue Resolution:
Diagnose and rectify issues related to cloud infrastructure, network setups, and application deployments.

Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate Azure services into application development and deployment workflows.

Documentation:
Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and operational processes.

Ongoing Development:
Keep abreast of the latest Azure services, tools, and best practices to continually enhance cloud solutions.

Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in cloud engineering, with a specialization in Microsoft Azure.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Certifications:
Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar credentials are highly valued.

Technical Proficiencies:

Expertise in Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Active Directory.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

Proficient scripting abilities in PowerShell, Python, or Azure CLI.

Comprehension of networking principles, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPN, and DNS.

Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the aptitude to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.

Security Acumen:
Profound understanding of cloud security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.

Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience in cross-functional team environments.

Adaptability:
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with a focus on continuous improvement.
