As a Microsoft Azure Solutions Engineer, your primary role will involve architecting, deploying, and overseeing robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructures utilizing Microsoft Azure.
You will collaborate closely with our software development and operations teams to ensure that cloud implementations align with organizational goals while fulfilling security, performance, and availability standards.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and execute cloud architecture strategies leveraging Microsoft Azure services, ensuring optimal scalability, reliability, and security.
Deploy, manage, and sustain Azure resources, which include virtual machines, storage solutions, databases, and networking elements.
Automate cloud operations through tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM templates, PowerShell, and Terraform.
Monitor and enhance the performance of cloud infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to latency, resource distribution, and security.
Work in conjunction with development and DevOps teams to refine CI/CD pipelines, ensuring effective code deployment and infrastructure management.
Establish and uphold cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security protocols.
Conduct cost assessments and optimizations for cloud services, ensuring resource efficiency while adhering to budget constraints.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud environments, encompassing architecture diagrams, deployment methodologies, and security configurations.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for cloud-related challenges, including participation in on-call support rotations.
Stay updated with the latest Azure features, services, and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance cloud operations and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, specifically focusing on Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
Understanding of cloud security principles, including identity management, encryption, and network security.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot intricate cloud-related issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to function effectively in a collaborative environment.
