About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Pride Health. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing.

This is a 3 months assignment opportunity with a possibility of extension or conversion. The ideal candidate will have excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

The Patient Service Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.

  • **Job Responsibilities:**
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
  • Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labelled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct. Maintains required records and documentation.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

**Estimated Salary:** $20-22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
