Position Overview

As a Senior SAP Technical Consultant - Team Lead at vTech Solution, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our SAP Charm and Solution Manager capabilities. This position involves collaborating closely with the Client's technical director and the existing change and basis teams to deliver robust support to the technical and functional teams.

Project Scope

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive support for SAP Charm and Solution Manager to various departments.
  • Assisting in the management of ongoing projects, releases, and production support.
  • Utilizing your extensive experience in installing, upgrading, configuring, and supporting SAP Charm and Solution Manager 7.2 systems.
Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Design and configure various components of the Solution Manager, including:
    • Technical Monitoring
    • Managed System Configuration
    • Solution Documentation
    • Business Process Monitoring
    • Change Request Management (Charm)
    • CTS+, TMS, etc.
  • Collaborate with change management, functional, and technical teams to:
    • Gather requirements
    • Design and implement solutions
    • Troubleshoot issues
    • Provide status updates and feedback
  • Deliver hands-on expertise in release work, SAP OSS notes, and security patch management.
  • Prepare formal documentation and conduct training sessions for peers and users.
Daily Duties

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Participating in the development of implementation and maintenance strategies for SAP Charm and Solution Manager.
  • Assisting in the creation of test plans to validate solutions during ongoing implementations.
  • Leveraging the latest SAP capabilities to enhance solution development.
  • Administering SAP Basis in Windows Server and SQL environments.
  • Managing Charm setups for multi-system landscapes and troubleshooting configurations.
Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience with SAP Charm and Solution Manager.
  • 5+ years of practical experience in upgrades, enhancement packs, OSS notes, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent teaching and peer review capabilities.
Preferred Skills

Additional qualifications that will be beneficial include:

  • Experience in public sector support for various SAP modules.
  • Proficiency in SAP architecture and design.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools and server/database management.
Education and Certifications

A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience (10 years) is required.
