Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team at BELFOR Holdings. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team, maintaining personnel records, and managing HR documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Process daily new hires and terminations, ensuring timely notification to Payroll and IT.
  • Assist in the management of data for new hires, background screening, and onboarding.
  • Review new hire documents for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
  • Notify Payroll of corrections and apply additional codes to systems for reporting purposes.
  • Participate in HR projects, such as job fairs and continuing education.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred.
  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years Human Resources experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and events simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
