Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Azul Hospitality. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of employee personnel files and the hiring process, including pre-screening and reference checks.
- Administer all employee insurance programs and maintain accurate records.
- Create and place recruitment advertisements in accordance with EEOC guidelines.
- Oversee the Paycom system and assist staff with the use of the self-service module.
- Maintain accurate staff records and comply with federal, state, and local laws.
- Process and assist with workers' compensation and guest liability claims.
- Attend departmental meetings and take notes on training sheets.
- Maintain and update associate communication boards.
- Assist with data entry on the Team Member Monthly Newsletter.
- Process staff requests related to FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and other employment laws.
- Monitor and audit the Time and Attendance system.
- Ensure all job descriptions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Record and track performance appraisals for line and managerial staff.
- Monitor Azul Hospitality's learning programs and ensure department heads are maintaining compliance.
- High school or equivalent education required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous hotel/resort experience preferred; 1-3 years of human resources experience preferred.
- Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver's license.
The Human Resources Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
