Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. JAMF Engineer to join our team at Fortellar. As a key member of our IT consulting and business process outsourcing organization, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, and maintaining Apple devices within our client organization using the JAMF Pro platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage JAMF Pro environments to deploy and manage macOS and iOS devices.
  • Implement zero-touch deployment processes for new devices using Apple's Automated MDM Enrollment (DEP) and JAMF Pro.
  • Create and manage scripts for automation of device management tasks, software installation, and system updates.
  • Package, deploy, and update applications using JAMF Pro, including managing software licensing and ensuring compliance.
  • Enforce security policies and configurations, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Administer operating system and application patching processes, ensuring devices are up-to-date and secure.
  • Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting issues related to system performance, software installation, and network connectivity.
  • Monitor device health, usage, and compliance, providing regular reports and insights to management.

Requirements:

  • Deep experience in administering and configuring JAMF Pro environments.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge of security standards and protocols, including encryption, MDM security frameworks, etc.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and VPN configurations.
  • JAMF 300 certifications.

Work Environment:

  • Remote work arrangement.
  • After-hours support.
  • Travel 2-3 times a year.

Salary: $40-$45 per hour.
