Senior Process Chemist

Apex Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for developing and commercializing new products. Your expertise in process development and integration will be crucial in supporting our cross-functional teams and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement process development strategies to ensure first-time manufacturing success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process development with business, purchasing, and supply chain functions.
- Perform techno-economic feasibility studies and develop fundamental correlations between process conditions and process chemistry.
- Champion safe and efficient process research and support stage-gate processes to develop opportunities for product and process improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (or other relevant science field).
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable process chemistry and/or engineering principles and application of those principles in a research and development environment.
- Advanced degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience directly related to applicable product or product category.
