About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resource Manager to join our team at Dow. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 324 Operators and interfacing with business counterparts to optimize plant activities and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Leadership: Provide facility-specific expertise to achieve EHS&S, production, and cost targets, and provide direct people leadership of the Operators/Operating Technicians.
  • Operational Excellence: Foster a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong safety focus that embraces inclusion and diversity, innovation and sustainability, continuous improvement, and empowerment.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply technical skills to optimize plant operations, resolve plant problems, and enable safe and efficient production of low-cost, quality products.
  • Collaboration: Work with scheduler, area planner, GSCP's, product managers, maintenance, and plant operational resources to effectively plan and execute the production schedule for assets within OSS.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience
  • Able to meet the following physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations:
    • Work at heights, climb stairs and ladders
    • Wear all required personal protective equipment
    • Work in an area with hazardous materials
Preferred Skills
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • A degree discipline in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
