The Grant Writing Specialist is essential in securing financial resources that bolster the mission of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. This role encompasses the formulation and execution of a detailed grant writing strategy, thorough research to pinpoint potential funding avenues, and the crafting of persuasive grant submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic approach to grant writing that aligns with the League's objectives.
2. Conduct in-depth research to discover funding opportunities from various sources, including foundations, governmental bodies, corporate entities, and individual benefactors.
3. Stay informed about trends and opportunities in the non-profit and healthcare funding landscape.
4. Write and prepare compelling grant proposals, ensuring they are well-structured and meet the criteria of each funding source.
5. Collaborate with program leaders and subject matter experts to gather necessary data for proposals.
6. Work alongside the finance team to incorporate accurate budgetary information into grant applications.
