Fund Accounting Specialist

As a Fund Accounting Analyst at Dexian, you will be part of a diverse team responsible for delivering high-quality Net Asset Value (NAV) results.

You will work closely with a global network of operational teams, providing oversight and support for daily production with a focus on accurate and timely delivery of daily NAVs.

To succeed in this role, you will need great attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and execute time-sensitive tasks, and a passion for delivering solutions across organizational boundaries.

Fund Accounting Operations at Dexian offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
  • Producing accurate and timely NAVs
  • Performing daily oversight and quality assurance functions in a global operating environment through the use of workflow and exception-based accounting tools
  • Ensuring all schedule work is completed by agreed deadlines with the proper evidence and documentation as mandated by corporate policy, regulatory reviews, and internal audit
  • Ensuring compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies
  • Working closely with internal new business and operational readiness teams through the on-boarding process of new client mandates
  • Developing a thorough knowledge of your client base, prospectus, documentation, etc.
  • Identifying efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience in Fund Accounting Operations or Fund Services
  • Knowledge/understanding of daily Money Markets and/or Bonds
  • Expert use of Microsoft Office (Excel: VLOOKUP, Macros)
  • Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced global operating environment and a matrix management organization to deliver results
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients
  • Analytical skills, problem-solving, good critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred)
  • Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organization
