Job Title: Inclusion Specialist

At Boys & Girls Club Crescent Region, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inclusion Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive environment for our members with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate programs and activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development for members with special needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, parents, and community partners to ensure a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with staff to create a safe and engaging space for all members.
  • Provide guidance and support to members, staff, and volunteers to ensure a positive and inclusive experience.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of curriculums and programs that align with our organization's mission and goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field.
  • 2 years of experience working with special needs populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and assist members as needed.
