Job Title: PHP/IOP Behavioral Health Technician
About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to provide services to Adolescents and Adults in a PHP/IOP setting. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide direct, hands-on support to clients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of Masters-Level Clinicians and other mental health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the team and clients with maintaining the daily program structure to ensure that groups start on time for maximum client benefit.
  • Complete observation rounds and safety checks as per provider's orders.
  • Work with patients on de-escalation and implement coping skills as per treatment plan.
  • Act as a secondary support staff in group therapy and milieu.
  • Provide case management support to clients by setting up aftercare appointments.
  • Complete documentation of client observations and individual check-ins that occur throughout the day.
Requirements
  • Experience working with Adolescents and Adults.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates understanding and appreciation of cultural inclusivity and diversity.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • 6+ months of direct client care/milieu experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems.
